My love for photography sparked back with my first camera, an old Polaroid Original 4722 600 Camera that my parents gave me when I was 8 years old. I was always taking random pictures and happily annoying everyone I knew because all I wanted to do was to take put them into frame.
Art has always been a part of my life whether it was sketching in my notebook, going to dance shows, being in dance shows (dance is also a huge part of my life), or admiring a painting while strolling past a gallery. Art has always been there since day one and it continues to play an extensive role in my everyday life. I grew with photography because it allowed me to see life in an altered perspective; it literally takes an ordinary moment and transforms it into something magical.
My portfolio consists of a variety of my work - weddings, family and senior portraits, and photojournalism. My work has the emphasis of capturing true moments within every assignment.
When I am not photographing I love to dance, and most likely you will find me on a stage or any dance floor that I can put my feet on. I may dance at your wedding when I’m supposed to be taking a break. I have been dancing for almost 15 years in a number of styles: hip-hop, ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and competitive ballroom dancing.
My goal is to photograph moments that are meaningful and to transform these moments into something we are able to look back and reflect on forever.
